My Skirt Goes “Oops!”

One of the many glitches of the new main viewer right now is the disappearing skirt act. I don’t know about you, but losing your skirt in a very well known store with many onlookers is not funny.

And here’s why..

Do you know that losing your skirt is embarassing? I know you know that, crap I think even an idiot knows that but you don’t completely get it until it happens to you. It’s like your worse nightmare come to life, just substitute the teacher for the owner of this wonderful shop that you stepped into skirtless, and substitute the class for a multitude of shopping crazy SL-aholics.

Is it the male Lindens playing a cruel joke on the ladies? I could imagine it going like this…

Linden Male 1: *snort* It would be so funny to go around looking up girl’s skirts!
Linden Male 2: *laughs* We can see their… thing *goes teary-eyed in fantasy*
Linden Male 3: Shit, you are all idiots.
Linden Male 2: Do you have a better idea?
Linden Male 3: Yes, unlike you two I actually like my work here at linden labs, that is why I am creating a bug that makes system skirts disappear!
Linden Male 1: Shit man, that’s damn awesome
Linden Male 3: I’m the MANNNN!!!! *pumps air in the fist and does the hump dance*

And that’s what I think. Don’t agree with it, comment and insult me. *laughs*

Me, I think it’s just retribution for the way all you kewl hawt ladies make our self-control disappear.

What can I say? We’re hawt like that, like you said. We can’t help it if they want to see up our skirts (they = males in general).

I was blessed enough to get the disappearing skirt issue back in November and spent many emails and conversations with Lindens convincing them I really had the problem. Finally after enough other people had the same problem, they found a work-around.

Sadly, rebaking and edit appearance will not always restore the skirt, but… if your skirt is modifiable and you modify it someway (no need to save the modification) it will be restored. If your skirt is no mod, you can put on a mod skirt, restore the skirt and then switch back to what you really want to wear.
